Título : That fruit is mine!
That Fruit Is Mine! tells the story of five very selfish elephants who love fruit. They each LOVE a different kind of fruit and do not share. One day they are walking through the jungle and spot a very tall tree with a totally new type of fruit that they all want... for themselves. They all plot and try to get the fruit individually and are completely oblivious to the five little mice who have also spotted this exotic delicacy. A fantastic story to encourage team work and sharing, as well to show that size and status are not everything. I laughed heartily through this story. 32 pages / Ages 3+ / Reviewed by Fiona Dalu-Chandu, school librarian.

Título : The walloos' big adventure Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Anuska Allepuz, Autor Editorial: London : Walker Books Fecha de publicación: 2021 Número de páginas: [sin pág.] Il.: il. ISBN/ISSN/DL: 978-1-4063-9443-6 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Clasificación: SHORT STORIES Resumen: A heartwarming, funny, and timely story with a gentle eco message about protecting and respecting the natural world.
On a small, rocky island live the Walloos. Spotty Walloo loves to cook, Big Walloo loves to build, Little Walloo loves to grow plants, and Old Walloo loves to tell stories about his adventures. Little Walloo can’t wait to have her first adventure, too! So when the family travels by boat to a tropical island, Little Walloo can’t believe her eyes. The air is so moist and fresh, the plants so tall and green. But when the Walloos begin picking the island’s leaves and plants, Little Walloo gets a funny feeling. Something is not quite right. What is that gurgle-wurgle-gurgle sound? And is the island . . . moving? From author-illustrator Anuska Allepuz comes a sweet and humorous tale about adventure and discovery—and sensitivity to the living things around us.Link: https://biblioteca.stpatrick.edu.uy/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=212 The walloos' big adventure [texto impreso] / Anuska Allepuz, Autor . - London : Walker Books, 2021 . - [sin pág.] : il.
